What is indie games meaning?

Independent video games or indie games are games that made by individuals or small teams.

Which in general they don't have financial support from game publishers.

And indie game developers usually raise funds through a crowdfunding site or build community support to realize their game projects.

Indie games may be created by small teams but they are very creative and like to experiment in making games, without publisher restriction (because they don't have it). that's why most of indie games are unique and anti-mainstream games.

Independent developers have limited ability to create a good graphics, even most of them only present a classic graphics, but they can create a new gameplay innovations that are not boring.

And you must have played Minecraft, it is also an indie game with fantastic income made by Mojang, but it was bought by Microsoft in 2014 for $ 2.5 billion.
